The endocrine system is made up of glands that produce and secrete hormones so that the body can function properly. It is the endocrine system which takes a hit when we are stressed.

The main glands are the hypothalamus, the pineal gland, the pituitary gland, the thyroid and parathyroid, the thymus and the adrenals and the ovaries and testes.

When the endocrine system is out of balance, people start to feel fatigued, we feel irritable and our mood drops, our sleep is affected and are digestion can be disrupted.

Kinesiology is a great way to regain balance of your endocrine system, which can be particularly helpful for pre-menopausal, menopausal and post-menopausal women.
